Design Consultation

I am committed to sharing my jewelling expertise to help you make the right choices. During this 1-hour session, whether in-person or online, tell me all about what you have in mind and we can discuss the best precious metals to use, the different types of stones and cuts of diamond and trends.

Ahead of this session, I will send a link with a short survey with a few questions to help us make the most of our time together, including how much time is on your side. The £200 fee for this session is refundable from your purchase and will allow me to create bespoke sketches and computerised illustrations (CAD designs) of your piece.

Design approval

Following our design consultation, I will assign a designer to create a series of hand-drawn sketches for you. We understand the importance of getting your special piece exactly right. It’s a symbol of your lasting relationship together. That’s why we’ll come up with a few different options to help us refine your design. We will continue until you are 100% happy with the design. Best to allow 1-2 weeks for this step.

Source stones

Then it is time to source quality stones to suit your budget. Whether diamonds, blue sapphires, a Burmese Ruby or Zambian Emerald, we only use ethically sourced stones from well-respected and responsible suppliers here in the UK. All diamonds are GIA certified meaning they have undergone a rigorous grading process and have the associated reports to accompany them.

Allow a good 5 days for this step. At this point we will ask for full payment to cover the cost of the stone/s.

Computer Aided Design

At this point, we will go ahead to create a CAD file for your extra peace of mind, so you can see what your piece will look like on screen in 3D, from all angles.

Best to allow 1 week for this step. There is also an option to have an actual physical model made. There is an extra charge but it is all possible.

Manufacture

Next, we will send your design to be manufactured locally here in London. All are bespoke one-off pieces complete with authenticated certificates for your stones, hallmarking on the metal and an insurance valuation.

Best to allow another week for this step. Before we being to manufacture your piece, we will ask for 50% of the outstanding balance.

The final unveiling

Last but not least, the unveiling of your jewellery in a premium Sparkling Stones display case here in London, ready to inspect and take home.

Happy to meet at your home if you are nearby, our offices in East London or in a central hotel lobby or cafe. We will ask for cleared funds of the final payment before we hand your piece over.

FAQs

I’m getting engaged and want to design a special ring, but I don’t know where to begin!

Bespoke engagement rings are our speciality – so even if you have no idea what you’re looking for, we can help you create something your loved one will want to wear and admire forever.

How does the process work, and how long will it take to finish my jewellery?

Start to finish, the process of creating a bespoke piece of jewellery typically takes around 2-3 weeks to complete.

We begin with an easy-going conversation, during which we will talk to you about your exact requirements. We’ll ask you to sketch a few ideas for us – but don’t worry, you don’t have to be an expert designer.

We will then present you with some 3D-rendered designs to choose from, and will keep on doing this until you find the one that’s right for you. Then begins the process of bringing your design to life, with its expert manufacture in the UK that ends with a final unveiling of the finished piece!

You will be involved and consulted with at every stage of the process, as we understand the need for everything to be completely right for you.

Where is the jewellery made? How can I tell the quality of the stones and metals you use?

We are exceptionally proud of every piece of jewellery we create, and everything is (hand) crafted in the UK from ethically sourced stones.

All the stones and precious metals we use are appropriately hallmarked and certified, and we can provide full information for insurance valuation purposes.

Creating bespoke jewellery sounds like an expensive process. How do you make it affordable?

We have no expensive shop front, and we hold no stock – everything we create is bespoke and crafted to order. This massively reduces our overheads and enables us to make bespoke jewellery a possibility for many more people.

We are confident that we are able to discuss and work within your stated budget.

Is the jewelry certified / hallmarked?

Yes, all of our jewellery is hallmarked for quality. We also only use certified gems in our creations. You will be provided with a certificate of authentication on the delivery of any jewelry you purchase from us.

Where are you located, can I visit your office to see the ready jewellery?

Our office is located in London (Barking); however, we are glad to visit you at a location of convenience and are always happy to bring examples of our work to show you.
