The Request
The client approached us to design them wedding rings for their D-Day as by designing their own wedding rings they wanted to give an intimate personal note to their special day.
Initial Discussion
When the clients first came to us they only had a vague idea in their minds and a few design samples for the wedding rings. However, they wanted one of the rings to be made out of an old ring – family heirloom with a round diamond and the other was to be a band.
Inspiration
They were so glad when we understood the importance of the original ring and the value attached to it and suggested designs accordingly for the diamond ring. Once we showed them a few more designs for inspiration and guided them through the bespoke process, it helped them to finalize the designs.
Bringing The Idea To Life
In our next appointment we explained the importance of choosing a diamond and went into detail about the different cut, color, and clarity of diamonds. After this discussion & considering the different characteristics, they chose the diamond with the most perfect sparkle, the “round brilliant” cut.
Final Unveiling
After the rings returned from the casters they were cleaned up and made ready for the initial polish. The ring was then handed to our setter to set the sparkling stone into the diamond ring. To finish, the rings were polished and packed into one of our stylish boxes.
